At Marist College a student has several opportunities to study a language. A student may apply language courses at the intermediate level or above towards fulfilling Core/Liberal Studies requirements from 3 to 15 credits. With good planning a student may also pursue a double major or a minor in French or Spanish to enhance his/her primary major. We encourage you to consider opportunities another language will add to your career as well. Please note that students seeking teaching certification have a state mandated language requirement and certain majors at Marist also require foreign language study such as English and Communications.
