Why
pursue the B.S. in Digital Media?
The B.S. in Digital Media is an exciting opportunity to study in
one of the fastest growing fields in the communications
and media industry. The Marist-LdM Program provides a solid foundation
in technical and graphic design while also providing
one of the most creative learning environments anywhere in the
world. The degree is flexible and can be tailored to students’ interests. Graduates
of the degree will have the skills to become graphic designers,
art directors, animators, picture esearchers, professional printers,
illustrators, web designers, and teachers. The Florence
campus features excellent media and computer facilities, combined
with an outstanding studio art environment where students can explore creative concepts and
projects
Why
study Digital Media at Marist-LdM?
The B.S. in Digital Media is designed to allow students the opportunity
to explore, in depth, the new exciting field of Digital
Media under the guidance of recognized working artists, designers,
and educators. It combines courses in digital media
with a balanced curriculum of studio art, art history, and liberal
arts courses. Students will gain broadbased training
in a wide range of new media, along with an nderstanding of their
concepts, historical background, and heritage in the traditional media.
